Ever since I saw this wreath at Just A Girl I knew I had to make one for myself. I found some shatterproof ornaments at Walmart on sale yesterday! Today my 3 yr old helped me string them on a hanger. She had a blast helping Mommy. Here is a picture of our new wreath!

5 Rectangle Sweater
I started loom knitting this sweater October 2008 and have finally finished it! It really didn't take that long, I just procrastinated in working on it. It was really easy to make. You just loom knit 5 rectangles in different sizes and whipstitch them together.
Emma loves her sweater and it's very warm, but I still need to add ribbon to tie it shut because it keeps falling off her shoulders. It is a bit big, but she will grow into it.

Wow it has been awhile since I posted here! I guess I'm a bit rusty at this blogging thing. Well here's to hoping I can stay updated.
I finished my daisy afghan and entered it in the county fair and won 1st place in the afghan section, Champion over all crocheted items, and Sweepstakes over all sewing items! Emma loves her afghan and I'm glad she gave it up for me to enter in the fair.
Well my hands have been giving me trouble when I crochet. So, I've quit crocheting and taken up quilting. I may try crocheting again at a later date. I've turned into a true quilter! I have 3 quilts in progress and not a one finished! LOL The quilter's guild here has been a big help in teaching me. I've taken 2 classes with them and have finished 2 quilt tops, now to get them quilted. My last class was the Lone Star quilt and I've gotten 3 points of my star finished. I really enjoy quilting, but have a hard time finding the time to work on my quilts with work and all the kids activities. Oh well my goal is to have one of my quilts finished by Christmas along with a baby quilt to donate to a local organization.
I'm also working on some clay items for Christmas. On my day off last week Emma & I made dough ornaments for her day care class. We got them shaped and baked, but still need to paint them. I have never made dough ornaments and were really pleased with the results. As soon as they are painted I will post a picture.
I will try my best to keep this blog updated with all my crafty projects. I have a bunch in my head, now I need to let them out.

Daisy Blanket
A few of the daisy squares I've made for Emma's blanket. I've made 30 and thought that would be enough, but after I spread them out I decided it wasn't. So I'm making 10 more. I love this pattern, but at the same time I'm tired of making them. I know she's going to love it. Emma is 2 and has to "smell" every flower I make. It's really cute and I can't wait to see what she does when they are all sewed together!
I would like to make myself a scrap afghan after I'm done with the daisy blanket. I'm going to have quite a bit of different colored yarn left over from the daisy squares and have been buying a skein here and there of other colors in the same brand. Not sure of the pattern yet, but it's not going to be complicated. I want something pretty and fast.
I have been really busy with life and haven't been doing much crafting with the exception of this blanket. I'm hoping to venture off into some quilting, beading, and scrapbooking come this June. I will post pictures when I'm done.
